In order to expand and promote deep cooperation in the field of training and scientific research, on the afternoon of December 11, 2019, University of Science and Education – University of Danang welcomed and worked with Prof. Chen, National Taiwan Normal University.
Attending the reception were Dr. Pham Quy Muoi – Head of Science and International Cooperation Department; Dr. Nguyen Duy Thai Son – Vice Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and representatives of related departments.
At the meeting, Dr. Pham Quy Muoi gave a speech expressing his joy and honor to welcome Prof. Chen, National Taiwan Normal University. Dr. Pham Quy Muoi introduced and exchanged information with Prof. Chen, gave an overview of the UED in the following aspects: facilities, quantity and quality of lecturers, scientific research fields, system of training programs and development orientations in the field of science and technology. In addition, he also introduced the undergraduate and graduate programs in the Faculty of Mathematics.
Dr. Pham Quy Muoi said: “This was a meaningful visit, increasing mutual understanding. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for us to discuss in depth and concretize the issues raised by the two sides. In terms of mathematics, it will be a step forward in research and publication of international scientific projects.”

GS. Chen, National Taiwan National University of Education, thanked the leaders of the UED for taking the time to warmly and respectfully receive him. On the results of the exchange, he expressed his hope to continue strengthening cooperation with the UED, not only on the agreed contents but also on many other areas of both sides. Especially in the coming time, he hopes to be able to coordinate with faculty of mathematics to participate in and publish international projects.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Chen talked with students of the Department of Mathematics about research groups, scholarship programs, and opportunities to study Master’s and Doctoral degrees at National Taiwan Normal University.
