In the general education program in 2018, the knowledge of probability and statistics has been given more emphasis and occupies a considerable amount of time in the entire program. In order to give an overview of this knowledge circuit in the general curriculum, at 14:00 on January 11, 2021 Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Hoang Long (Hanoi University of Education) presented the report “Some problems with the knowledge circuit of Statistics and Probability in the 2018 high school curriculum”.
Attending the report session were teachers of the Faculty of Mathematics and a large number of students of the faculty. Mr. Ngo Hoang Long has provided a lot of useful information about the knowledge of probability and statistics in the high school program. Besides, the reporter also gives visual illustrations to help students understand the simple applications of probability – statistics in practice.
