On the morning of July 9, 2018, the Mathematics Summer School for excellent math students nationwide organized by the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (Viasm) and the UD-UEd was opened at Hall A6. This summer school attracted 150 excellent students in math from 22 universities across the country. Summer School will run for 2 weeks. During this time, students will be taught by leading experts in mathematics to present a number of interesting and topical topics of mathematics today and aim to support learning and research for students as the opening speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Ha – Executive Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics: “The 2018 Student Mathematics Summer School is one of the key national programs for the development of Mathematics in the period 2010- 2020. The program aims to support students majoring in Mathematics to promote their ability to study and practice research during their university studies. Thereby, it will increase the number of university graduates who are able to study Mathematics as well as improve the knowledge for students of Mathematics Teacher Education”
